Introduction to the Woods Hole Summer Student Fellowship 2024
Application is now open for the Woods Hole Summer Student Fellowship 2024. The program will run in the summer of 2024 for 10–12 weeks. This summer student fellowship is open to all international students from any country. U.S. students cannot apply for the Woods Hole Summer fellowship. The fellowship provides funding for living expenses and a research stipend. Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program and have a demonstrated interest in research related to marine science. Priority will be given to students with backgrounds in underrepresented groups.

Benefits of the Woods Hole Summer Student Fellowship 2024

- Stipend: A Weekly Stipend. The stipend in the summer of 2023 was $680 per week.

Eligibility Criteria

- Students in a three-year Bachelor’s Degree Program, such as those in the UK, must be in their second year
- Students in a five-year combined Bachelor/Master’s Degree Program must be in the third year of the program

- At least three letters of recommendation from professors
- A completed course record listing undergraduate coursework by subject category, a primary textbook used for each course, and the grade received for completing the course
