Introduction to the University of Twente Scholarship 2024

The University of Twente, a highly respected public university located in the Netherlands, has opened up Round 2 applications for its prestigious scholarship program. This scholarship is exclusively available to international students from outside the EU/EEA countries, and it is not open to Dutch students or current students of UT. Students who are interested in pursuing a graduate program (MSc) at the University of Twente can apply for this scholarship program. 

The medium of instruction for the program is English, and the university has consistently been ranked among the top 200 universities globally. The University of Twente will be awarding a total of 50 scholarships, and the value of each scholarship ranges from €3,000 to €22,000 for one year. It is important to note that this scholarship is meant to be a form of compensation for study-related costs. As such, it is up to the student to decide how to allocate the funds. For instance, students can use the scholarship amount to pay their tuition fees, cover their living expenses, or cover any other study-related costs they may incur. 

Worth of the University of Twente Scholarship 2024

The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) offers around 50 scholarships to students who meet their eligibility criteria. These scholarships are awarded for a period of one year, with a value ranging from €3,000 to €22,000. The scholarship can be renewed for the second year, provided that the students fulfill the necessary requirements as stipulated by the UTS. This opportunity provides a significant financial boost to deserving students who aspire to pursue higher education and achieve their academic goals.

The Kipaji scholarship is only for those students who also receive a UTS Scholarship. The value of the Kipaji scholarship is up to €12,000. Students should also meet the Kipaji scholarship requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

  • First, you will need to obtain an academic admission letter.
  • Beginning in September of the academic year 2024, you have been (provisionally) admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master programs.
  • The application process can take up to eight weeks to complete, depending on the results.
  • Acquire a visa for entry. 
  • Meet the requirements of the English language test. Academic IELTS 6.5 (or a TOEFL iBT of 90) plus an extra 6.0 (or a TOEFL iBT of 20) on the speaking skills subscore.
  • EU and EA students are not permitted to enroll in the UTS.
  • Dutch and/or enrolled UT students are not eligible for the UTS.

How to Apply

To apply for the UTS scholarship 2024, you must first apply for a Master’s program and receive an offer letter from the university. Once you have your student number, you can submit your application for the scholarship. It’s important to note that the deadline for applications is May 1, 2024. Therefore, make sure you have submitted your Master’s program application well before the scholarship application deadline to allow for processing time.
