- be a citizen of a country in Africa.
- show interest in the fields of international social work, development studies, eco-social work, and green social work.
- rank the programme, Bachelor of Science in Social Work—Specialization International Social Work, as a priority at university admissions.
- pay the application fee and send supporting documents to university admissions in time.

Benefits of the University of Gävle Scholarship
This program is for the Bachelor of Science in Social Work program with a specialization in International Social Work. It covers the entire tuition fee for the program that starts in August 2024, which means that the recipient of the scholarship doesn’t have to pay any fees for the program. However, it’s important to note that the scholarship doesn’t cover the living expenses of the student.
