About the SEO Law Fellowship and Scholarship Program
SEO Law Fellowship Program
The SEO Law Fellowship Program is a transformative experience for incoming law students. Selected individuals receive scholarships, academic instruction from law school professors, and hands-on training from legal practitioners. The program includes an 8-week paid internship at a top corporate law firm before the start of law school. Fellows also benefit from ongoing academic support throughout their first year. They gain lifetime access to a vast network of over 21,000 SEO alumni globally, including over 1,700 attorneys in the SEO Law Alumni Network.
SEO Law Scholarship Program
The SEO Law Scholarship Program is a great opportunity for promising, underrepresented incoming law students. This program awards three scholarships per year to help these students attend the law school of their choice. Among these scholarships, one student will receive $10,000 while two others will receive $5,000 each. This financial assistance can greatly help these students achieve their dreams of becoming successful lawyers.
Fellowship and Scholarship Highlights
During the program, Fellows will:
- Complete extensive academic training and professional development through SEO Law’s renowned 2-week training program, the Law Institute.
- Work as a summer associate before starting law school, participating in a 10-week paid summer internship at top law firms across the U.S.
- Receive first-year (1L) academic support, working with top legal tutors and professors.
- Gain access to a network of 1700+ alumni, including law firm partners, general counsels, U.S. attorneys, federal judges, former U.S. Cabinet and Congress members, and more!
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Must take the LSAT, GRE, or GMAT at least once by application submission.
- Have a minimum LSAT (or GRE, GMAT equivalent) of 154.
- Be a working professional or graduate from a four-year college or university by May 2024.
- Have prior U.S. work authorization for the duration of the Fellowship.
- Have applied to an ABA-accredited law school for matriculation in Fall 2024.
