The Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award (WEA), in collaboration with the Impact Hub Network, celebrates women entrepreneurs who are driving innovative change.
This award is more than just recognition; it is a commitment to supporting women who are pioneering solutions in health, nutrition, and climate-smart initiatives. The Bayer Foundation is looking for 15 outstanding winners (5 per region) to join the 6-month Accelerator Program. Together, we are actively shaping a future that is inclusive and equitable for everyone.
Requirements for Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award
Apply now if you are a female entrepreneur. In today’s world, women face significant obstacles that impede their success. The Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award aims to boost their ability to create social impact through innovative ideas. We are looking for female-led businesses that contribute to social change and enhance their communities.
Promoting Social Impact
We focus on supporting female-led enterprises involved in developing health, nutrition, and climate-smart solutions that align with UN Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero Hunger) and 3 (Good Health & Wellbeing). We seek entrepreneurs who aim to reduce disparities with inventive solutions to uplift each other.
From these regions, women encounter challenges globally, but our attention is directed towards entrepreneurs hailing from the Asia Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. This presents an opportunity for entrepreneurs from these areas to be spotlighted and expedite their innovations toward a healthier future.

Timeline:
Launch Your Dreams – February 7th to March 27th: Applications are open to all visionary female entrepreneurs.
Pitch Your Vision – April: 30 finalists will be selected and coached to pitch their ideas to a jury.
Spotlight in Berlin – June 4th to 6th: The 15 winners will attend the Award Ceremony in Berlin and participate in Bayer Foundation’s Social Innovation Days.
Accelerate Your Impact: June to December: Begin your impact journey with the 6-month Acceleration Programme.
