Tony Elumelu Foundation has empowered, supported African Entrepreneurs for the past 6years.
Tony Elumelu Foundation is founded by the Chairman of Heirs Holding, Mr. Tony Elumelu. The foundation has grown to become the biggest Entrepreneurship Program in Africa for all Africans of any age and any language provided that applicants has viable business Ideal, existing business that is not more than 5 years.
NOTE: the age of business may be reviewed backward or upward depending the Foundationโs decision. Last year, 2026 the age of business was limited to 3years, however, was reviewed upward to 5 years at a certain stage of the program. The decision to increase the years of business to afford more opportunities to more business and more applicants.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be a citizen of one of the 54 African countries.
Applicants must be from 18 years of age.
Applicants must have a legal name.
Citizens of all African countries are qualified for the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme.
Applicants must apply before the stipulated deadline
Applicants must have Business idea or an existing business.
The business must be registered before fund would given. This means that at the time of your application, your application will be accepted whether your business is registered or no registered provided that your business is fundable. Application can go ahead and apply but if selected for funding must proceed to register his or her business with applicable government agencies, in the case of Nigeria, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
