Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the World Bank Young Professional Program 2026, candidates must meet all of the following:
- Born Oct 1, 1992, or after, you must be 32 or younger by the application date.
- Citizen of a World Bank Group member country
- Master’s or higher in fields like economics, public policy, finance, development, engineering, or related fields—completed before Sept 1, 2025.
- At least 4 years of full-time work experience post-bachelor’s—PhD research or relevant internships may count.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and fluency in other languages like French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, or Portuguese is a plus.
- Not currently a World Bank Group staff member.
