Web Developer Job Summary
An experienced web developer and flexible technical lead is needed to design, develop, deploy, and maintain WordPress and API solutions in a fast-paced development environment.
Essential Functions Expected
- Technical control over the WordPress platform and API solutions
- development of both the front end and back end of WordPress, as well as the use of plugins and themes
- Server and database integration for WordPress’s back end
- Processes for integrating applications, including service-oriented and discoverable API services, should be designed, developed, deployed, and maintained.
- Create a release pipeline to aid in the deployment of quality, continuous code
- Whenever necessary, closely collaborate with product managers, product engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Analyze problems calmly under pressure and communicate corrective action plans as necessary to resolve production bugs relating to system integrations.
Skills Required
- WordPress technical experience
- API development experience
- PHP 7.4 technical knowledge
- MySQL technical knowledge
- Experience using Git
- Experience implementing CI\CD pipelines
- Experience with React JavaScript framework a plus
