UN-OHRLLS Invites Young Storytellers from Landlocked Developing Nations to Apply for Fully Funded Participation in LLDC3 in Kigali, Rwanda

Are you a dynamic young individual hailing from a landlocked developing country (LLDC)? The United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries, and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS) is actively seeking enthusiastic and imaginative storytellers from LLDCs to step into the role of Land-linked fellows. This is an opportunity for you to showcase your passion and creativity by submitting various forms of digital content, such as photos, videos, and more, illustrating the compelling narratives and distinct experiences of young people within these nations.

A select group of fellows will receive full funding to partake in the 3rd United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries scheduled to convene in Kigali from June 18th to 22nd, 2024. Recognizing the evolving landscape of our world, it’s imperative that we do not overlook the youth. They are the driving force behind transformative progress. However, obstacles like climate change, poverty, and inequality are hindering far too many from realizing their full potential. Young individuals in landlocked countries require increased employment opportunities, access to technology, and a healthier environment to thrive.
