Pan African Union full scholarship
The pan African union scholarship is open to all African students for postgraduate studies: Masters and PhD programmes for the year 2022
Interested applicants of African countries who are talented enterprising and who wishes to further in masters or PhD programme are called to send in their application for next intake to study in one of the Pan African Union institutions located in different places.
The Pan African Union is an African wide organization uplifting the African image and contributing to African economic development and growth, the union has four institutions under the Pan African University.

The Pan African University is an establishment of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
The university is a Premier continental university with mission is to provide quality postgraduate education to African bright and enterprising smart students. The aim which is to achieve a political and economic growth.
The application commencement date for the 2022 intake is on the 15th of July2022. Application continues and closes on the 15th of September 2022 which is enough time to get your documents ready
Eligibility for the Pan African Union Scholarship.
Interested students must be pursuing masters or PhD studies.
Eligibility for Masters students
Masters applicants must satisfy the following requirements.
Masters applicants must be between the age of 30 for males and 35 for females.
Masters applicants must have obtained undergraduate degree from a recognized university of their respective countries
Masters applicants must have at least a second class upper division grade on graduation or its equivalent, in other relevant field of studies from institution.
Masters applicant must provide the certified copies of their relevant degrees, transcripts.
Masters applicants must have Passport or National I.D. card
Masters applicants must have a clear colored passport size photograph
Masters applicants must poses a professionally arranged curriculum vitae.
Other requirements for masters applicants includes;
Recommendation letter from former lecturer
Not less than three(3) referees’ email address and phone numbers.
Eligibility for PhD students
Masters applicants must be between the age of 35 for males and 40 for females
PhD applicants must have a master’s degree in a relevant field from the Pan African University or any recognized university in the applicants respective countries.
Other requirements for PhD are:
Certified copies of relevant degrees, transcripts
Passport or National I.D. card
Clear colored passport size photograph
Professional curriculum vitae
Recommendation letters from two Professors.
A 3 to 4 page Research synopsis that I’d between 3 and 4 pages
Contacts; emails and phone numbers of 3 referees that must be university lecturers.
Masters and PhD applicants would take a pre selection test, this is however, subject to change
Masters and PhD applicants should be fluent in English language while;
Masters applicants taking courses on conference interpreting and translation would be required to have good knowledge of two or more official languages of the African Union; the Arabic, French, Portuguese and English
All citizen of African countries are qualified to apply.
Selection Criteria for the Pan African Union Scholarship
Applicants that have the potential, motivation and desirous of transformation, leadership roles are advised to apply
Also academicians, professionals, industrialists, innovators and entrepreneurs are particularly advised to apply as well. The number of scholarship to be awarded is not specified
The value of the scholarship awards is a full funded scholarship by the African Union Commission to the successful African scholars.
The duration of the scholarship is a Fulltime studies
