About The European University Institute Policy Leader Fellowship

The Policy Leader Fellowship (PLF) is a prestigious residential initiative hosted by the Florence School of Transnational Governance (STG) at the European University Institute (EUI). This program is tailored for professionals in diverse policy-related fields, such as politics, civil service, media, and NGOs.

The fellowship provides participants the opportunity to advance their understanding of transnational governance, refine policy solutions, and craft recommendations grounded in their professional expertise. Fellows engage in skill-building workshops, collaborate with EUI’s academic community, and contribute to the school’s educational and networking efforts. Upon completing the fellowship, participants join a robust global alumni network and gain lifelong access to specialized training opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions to be considered:

Reimbursement of travel expenses up to €1,200 for trips to and from Florence (excludes taxis and relocation costs).
