ESIMAD Project African Scholarship 2024

Introduction to the ESIMAD Project African Scholarship 2024

Applications are now open for the ESIMSAD Project African Scholarship 2024. ESIMSAD stands for Electrochemical Science and Innovative Materials for Sustainable African Development. This is a collaborative effort of four higher education institutions in Africa and one EU-based technical partner. This initiative aims to promote innovation and sustainability in Africa through the development of cutting-edge materials and electrochemical sciences.

The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme is a joint initiative of the African Union and the European Union. This program is being implemented under the auspices of the Pan-African Partnership. The objective of this initiative is to promote academic mobility within Africa by supporting the exchange of students, researchers, and academic staff between African higher education institutions.

The European Commission directly manages the program through the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency. It is overseen by the Directorate General for International Cooperation and Development and is being carried out in collaboration with the African Union Commission Department for Human Resources, Science and Technology. This partnership aims to foster the development of human resources and promote cooperation between African and European institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

The ESIMSAD project offers scholarships to students and staff from African countries interested in studying Materials Science, Solar Energy, Physics, Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Electrochemistry, Energy Technologies, and Physical Chemistry.
