Application Requirements

  • The Round 1 (International) applications are open to only International students.
  • Australian, and New Zealand Citizens are not eligible.
  • You must first apply for admission, find a supervisor, and then apply for the Scholarship.

How to Apply

The detailed application procedure:

  1. Locate a supervisor who works in your industry. Look through their published works and research, and locate their contact information. To accomplish this, look up ANU Supervisors. 
  2. In order to collaborate with your supervisor, you must first apply for admission to a higher degree program by conducting research (Master’s or PhD). The offer letter or agreement from your supervisor can be uploaded to the online application.
  3. Keep in mind that you must fulfil the prerequisites for ANU admission.
  4. When submitting your application for admission to the Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Program, you have the option to indicate which scholarships, including the AGRTP, you would like to be considered for. There is no separate application form.
