 Benefits of the Program

The recipient of this scholarship will receive a full waiver of their tuition fees for the entire duration of their single undergraduate degree (including embedded honours), which can be up to a maximum of four years of full-time study. Additionally, it covers the Student Services Amenities Fee. It’s important to note that recipients are not required to pay any other amount, but they are responsible for covering other expenses related to studying at the University of Sydney, such as Overseas Health Cover (OSHC), living costs, accommodation, textbooks, flights, and any costs associated with being under the age of 18.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have applied for, but not yet commenced, a single undergraduate coursework degree (including embedded honours) at the University of Sydney, with a maximum duration of 4 years. Only applicants who apply for eligible courses will be considered for this scholarship. Please note that the program is not available for combined degrees with a postgraduate component, the Bachelor of Arts (Dual Degree, Sciences Po, France), the Bachelor of Economics (Dual Degree, Sciences Po, France), or degrees that include the Bachelor of Advanced Studies.

Additionally, you must:

  • Enroll in your eligible degree full-time
  • Not be commencing a second degree at the University of Sydney
  • Be an international student, as defined in the Higher Education Support Act of 2003. Australian Citizens, Australian Permanent Residents, and dual citizens with Australian nationality are not eligible
  • Have completed secondary school or a foundation program in Australia or from a University of Sydney-recognized foundation partner
  • Have not previously undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program).

After submitting your application for the program, only successful applicants will be contacted. The indicative turnaround time to receive a scholarship offer is approximately 5 weeks from the date of applying. It’s important to note that the number and value of scholarships awarded are subject to change without notice. Approximately 20 scholarships will be awarded globally per year across two intakes, with a focus on diversity in both courses and nationality.
