About the University of Rwanda EAC Regional Centre of Excellence Scholarship
The University of Rwanda, through the East African Community (EAC) Regional Centre of Excellence for Vaccines, Immunization and Health Supply Chain Management (RCE-VIHSCM), is offering a fully funded scholarship for African students who wish to pursue Master’s degrees in specialized health-related fields.

Eligible Fields
The scholarship is available for the following Master’s degree programs at the University of Rwanda:
- Master of Health Supply Chain Management (MHSCM)
- MSc in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance (MPAQA)
- MSc in Vaccinology (MVAX)
- MSc in Medical Products Regulatory Affairs (MPRA)
These programs are offered under the EAC RCE-VIHSCM and combine online learning with face-to-face sessions in Kigali, Rwanda.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be public servants from eligible East African countries listed below
- Be self-sponsored candidates from any country (strongly encouraged to apply)
- Be under the age of 45
- Meet the specific entry requirements of their chosen Master’s program
Please note: Previous recipients of the RCE scholarship are not eligible to apply again.

Self-sponsored applicants from any other country are also welcome to apply, though they must cover their own expenses if not awarded the scholarship.

- Tuition fees of €6,000 for the full duration of the program
