About the UN Diversity Internship Moldova 2025

Launched by the UN Moldova Country Team, this fully funded initiative supports six youth through placements in key UN agencies. Designed to empower individuals from marginalized communities, it provides:

Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible if you:

  • Are 18–29 years old
  • Belong to a marginalized group in Moldova—for example, youth with disabilities, LGBTIQ+, ethnic minorities, or socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or higher, or are final-year students
  • Are fluent in English, Romanian, or Russian
  • Can commit to 4–6 months of full-time placement in Chisinau

This program is open to Moldovan nationals or legal residents. UN Moldova seeks candidates with resilience, adaptability, and a drive to contribute.

Key Responsibilities

During the internship, you may:

  • Support program design, monitoring & evaluation
  • Assist with policy research and stakeholder engagement
  • Draft reports, social media content, or advocacy materials
  • Contribute to data collection and analysis
  • Help organize workshops or community events

Host agencies will provide structured inductions, ongoing supervision, and team integration. Assignments are tailored to each intern’s interests and abilities.
