About the Rhodes Scholarship 2025

The Rhodes Scholarship 2025 is currently accepting applications. Established in 1902, the Rhodes Scholarship stands as one of the oldest and most esteemed scholarship programs globally. It provides opportunities for individuals to pursue Master’s, MPhil, and PhD degree programs at the University of Oxford, representing a prestigious avenue for academic advancement. This program offers a remarkable chance for young individuals worldwide to become part of the esteemed Rhodes community. Applications for the 2025 intake are open for nearly all countries, with the United States opening its applications on July 1st. This year, a total of 105 scholarships are available.

Successful applicants of this program will have the opportunity to engage in full-time postgraduate degree programs at the University of Oxford. Alongside academic pursuits, scholars will receive a monthly stipend to support accommodation and living expenses. Furthermore, the Rhodes Trust extends additional financial support by covering various expenses, including the student visa fee, application fee for Oxford University, health insurance, economy class air tickets, and an arrival allowance.

The scholarship is valid for two or more years for Master’s Degree programs and up to three years to undertake a DPhil (PhD) at Oxford. The Next academic semester will start in October 2025.

Benefits

It is a fully funded program, and the Rhodes Trust will cover the following:

  • Oxford University course fees
  • Complete Tuition Fee
  • The stipend will be given from which scholars will pay for their Living expenses and Accommodation.
  • Rhodes Trust will cover the Fee required to apply to study at the University of Oxford.
  • Student Visa Fee.
  • International Health Surcharge (IHS) at the National Health Center
  • Two Economy class flights – to and from the UK – for the beginning and end of studies in Oxford.
