About the PhD Scholarship in Applied Mathematics at DTU 2025

The Technical University of Denmark (DTU Compute) is currently inviting applications for a fully funded 3-year PhD scholarship in Applied Mathematics, as part of the Danish Research Council Project 1 (DRC-1). This research will focus on geometric singular perturbation theory in slow-fast analytic vector fields, in collaboration with international partners, including researchers in Australia.

This prestigious PhD position is based at DTU Compute, situated in Lyngby, within the vibrant Greater Copenhagen Area.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must:

  • Hold, or be close to completing, a two-year Master’s degree (120 ECTS) in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong competence in mathematical analysis and dynamical systems.
  • Be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Be willing to collaborate internationally, especially with partners in Australia.
