About the Concordia University Entrance Scholarships for International Students
Concordia University is currently inviting applications for the Entrance Scholarships for International Students for the academic year 2024. These scholarships are specifically designed for candidates applying for bachelor’s degree programs and are open for application during the fall admission cycle.
The selection process for these scholarships primarily considers academic achievements, with candidates being automatically assessed for eligibility. Successful candidates will be awarded Entrance Scholarships by the respective Faculties based on their outstanding performance in Cegep or equivalent (applicable to Canadian high school students).
It’s important to emphasize that receiving an offer of admission to Concordia University does not guarantee automatic selection for an Entrance Scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are interested must fulfil the following criteria:
- Full-time students starting their first year of university study are eligible for entrance scholarships provided they have completed CEGEP, Canadian High School or College, or an equivalent program.
- Applicants need to be accepted into the Bachelor’s degree program.
- No student is eligible to receive these awards. Students accepted into certificate programs, independent learners, or visiting students
Selection Criteria
The faculties make decisions and extend offers for entrance scholarships during the admissions process from spring to summer, or until all available slots are filled.
- Most scholarship selections are made automatically and are determined by academic standing.
- Schools and faculties choose applicants and advise the Financial Aid and Awards Office of their choices.
- Notifications are only sent to chosen candidates. Selection starts in the spring and lasts through the summer.
- Selection for admission to Faculty of Fine Arts programs that demand the submission of a portfolio is made solely on the basis of the portfolio, not on grades obtained prior to admission.

Benefits of the Award
After the registration/course drop period ends, scholarships will be disbursed to students’ University accounts once their registration is verified. The majority of these awards will be paid out in two equal instalments, with one instalment during the Fall term and the other during the Winter term.

The application process for the Concordia University Entrance Scholarships for International Students 2024 is conducted through an online platform. Please note that the deadline for submitting applications is December 1, 2024.
