About the One Young World–Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship

This scholarship aims to empower individuals at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and social good, creating opportunities for collaboration and learning at one of the world’s premier global leadership gatherings.

Eligible Fields

Applicants from all fields of study or professional backgrounds are welcome to apply, as long as their work aligns with the scholarship’s key focus areas. Whether you’re an engineer, urban planner, AI specialist, data scientist, architect, social entrepreneur, or sustainability advocate, your application is welcome.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the 2025 Building Tomorrow Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the Summit (November 2025).

Be actively working on or leading an initiative that contributes to one of the scholarship’s focus areas:
- Using AI technologies for sustainable construction
- Applying AI solutions to enhance urban resilience

Hotel accommodation in Munich from 2 to 6 November 2025.

Round-trip economy travel to and from Munich.
All meals during the Summit, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner on each conference day.
Local ground transportation, where required, between the Summit venue and accommodation.

Participation in a pre-Summit programme in Munich designed to prepare scholars for the experience and connect them with other changemakers.
