Benefits of the MILEAD Fellows Program
The Fellows program is designed to provide a transformative experience for individuals who are passionate about community change and leadership development. The program begins with a three-week residential summer institute in Ghana, which serves as a unique space for collaboration and growth. During this period, participants will engage in a variety of activities, including workshops, group discussions, and hands-on projects, all aimed at fostering personal and professional growth.
In addition to the Summer Institute, participants will also be engaged in a community change project that will allow them to apply the skills and knowledge they have gained in a real-world context. This project is designed to be hands-on, providing participants with the opportunity to work closely with community members and stakeholders to identify and address key issues facing the community.
The program is open to full-time students as well as professionals who are committed to making a positive difference in their communities. Participants will be selected based on their passion, commitment, and potential to contribute to the program and to the wider community. The program is designed to be immersive and enriching, providing participants with a life-changing experience that will stay with them long after the program has ended.
