Benefits of the University of Sydney Undergraduate Scholarship
- For the specified full-time duration of their single undergraduate degree (including embedded honors), the award recipient will get the following benefits, up to a maximum of four years of full-time study.
- full tuition costs, and
- Fee for Student Services Amenities.
- No other amount is payable. All other costs associated with attending the University of Sydney, such as Overseas Health Coverage (OSHC), living expenses, housing, textbooks, airfare, and other expenses related to being under eighteen (18), are the responsibility of the recipients.
Eligibility Criteria
- Have applied for but not yet commenced a single undergraduate coursework degree (which may include embedded honours) at the University of Sydney at the time of award, which has a maximum duration of 4 years. This funding will only be awarded to applicants who submit applications for approved courses. The Bachelor of Arts (Dual Degree, Sciences Po, France), Bachelor of Economics (Dual Degree, Sciences Po, France), and degrees that include the Bachelor of Advanced Studies are not eligible for the scholarship. Neither are combined degrees with a postgraduate component.
- Requires full-time enrollment in their eligible program
- Not enrolling at the University of Sydney to start a second degree.
- Comply with the Higher Education Support Act of 2003’s definition of an international student. Not eligible are dual citizens with Australian nationality, Australian citizens, and Australian permanent residents.
- Must be a graduate of an Australian foundation program, secondary school, or a foundation partner recognized by the University of Sydney
- Must not have previously pursued any postsecondary education, with the exception of extension courses finished as part of a year 12 curriculum.
How to Apply
- Only successful applicants will be contacted after applying for the program. Five weeks after submitting your application for the program is the typical turnaround time for receiving an offer of funding.
- Between the two intakes, about 20 scholarships will be given out annually worldwide, with an emphasis on course and nationality diversity. Notice of changes to the information listed herein is not guaranteed. The amount and value of scholarships awarded are indicated by the information provided.
