About the UNICEF Internship Program 2024
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is a leader in the region for the rights of its children. Our programmes focus on improving the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the Kingdom, irrespective of their nationality, gender, religion or background. Our main pillars include: Child Protection; Education; Water, Sanitation & Hygiene; Adolescent and Youth Engagement.
Requirements for The UNICEF Internship Program 2024
Your profile could be a good fit for the UNICEF Internship Program 2024 if it meets the following requirements:
- Completion of Bachelor degree or have graduated within the past two years – in social media, marketing or in a related field.
- Experience in managing social media accounts or have a high interest in social media, digital media and the latest digital trends.
- Good knowledge in using social media editing techniques to create multimedia content.
- Strong video editing skills are an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Strong verbal communication and writing skills in English and Arabic
Job Description
Here’s a list of duties outlined for the candidates of the UNICEF Internship Program 2024;
- Assist in preparing the monthly social media calendar, through writing captions, translating from Arabic to English and vice versa, and editing videos.
- Pitching new tactics and creative posts ideas to increase engagement, reach and effectiveness of content among local audiences.
- Schedule posts on each of the different platforms.
- Execute ideas for social media Reels and Shorts, which might entail planning with the different stakeholders, filming, and editing.
- Support the Communication Officer in monitoring and reporting on content performance and compiling monthly social media reports.
- Monitor comments and DMs daily, addressing inquiries according to the office’s community management guidelines.
