Launched by the FATE Institute, the research and policy think tank of FATE Foundation, the FATE Institute Fellowship Program is a part-time, virtual initiative that brings together a diverse cohort of experts. Eligible Fields
Applicants should have academic or professional backgrounds in one or more of the following fields:

- Other related social science disciplines
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the 2025 FATE Institute Fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A strong interest in entrepreneurship and policy reform
- A completed or ongoing postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant discipline
- At least 10 years of professional experience in research, development, policy engagement, or stakeholder coordination
- A proven ability to produce evidence-based research and conduct policy analysis
- Demonstrated capacity to engage with public sector stakeholders, policy actors, and development institutions
- A commitment to identifying and addressing key challenges in Nigeria’s entrepreneurship ecosystem
- Strong skills in policy writing, data analysis, and stakeholder communication
Selection Criteria
Fellows will be chosen based on their:
- Proven track record in research or public policy
- Commitment to entrepreneurship development in Nigeria
- Ability to collaborate virtually and contribute meaningfully to group discussions and research activities
- Strong alignment with the values and mission of the FATE Institute
Eligible Countries
This fellowship is open exclusively to Nigerian nationals residing within or outside the country.

- A Statement of Purpose highlighting their motivation, professional background, and policy interests
- Evidence of academic qualifications (degree certificates or enrollment verification)
