The Sony Future Filmmaker Awards 2023 are now accepting applications world wide. The Sony Future Filmmaker Awards is a significant new initiative for short films that gives innovators and filmmakers from all across the world an unprecedented chance.

The 30 successful filmmakers will get the chance to fly to Los Angeles to visit the Sony Pictures studio in Culver City, California, where they will attend panel discussions, workshops, and screenings to gain unparalleled insight into the movie industry.

Eligibility Requirements for the Sony Future Awards

  • Applications are open to all international artists and filmmakers.
  • Also, you must be the legal owner of the video you are sending and/or have the rights owner’s consent in order to enter any of the three categories.

Application process

Applicants are to attach a 2 to 5 minute duration video of their works for submissions.

Entry deadline is December 13, 2022, at 7:00 AM (CT).
