Selection Criteria

Chefs will go through several stages to reach the final:

Recipe Submission: Applicants submit an original recipe using specific ingredients—Cornish red gurnard, St. Austell mussels, red dulse seaweed, parsnip, and a sauce.
Regional Finals: Selected finalists participate in a cooking challenge and a mystery dessert test.
National Final: The top six will compete at The Waterside Inn Culinary School.
