Awardees will join the QuTech Academy programme as part of one of the MSc programmes offered by either:

The Faculty of Applied Sciences, or

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science (EEMCS)

Alternatively, applicants can directly enroll in the MSc in Quantum Information Science & Technology (QIST).

Eligibility Criteria for QuTech Academy Scholarship 2026

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:

Be international students applying to a TU Delft MSc programme (Faculty of Applied Sciences or EEMCS).

Have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 80% or higher.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a globally recognized university.
Demonstrate a strong academic and research interest in quantum technology.
Be willing to enroll in QuTech Academy courses during their MSc programme.

Show a commitment to diversity and inclusion — female students and individuals from underrepresented groups in quantum science and engineering are strongly encouraged to apply.
Preference is given to external students (those not already enrolled at TU Delft).

QuTech Academy Scholarship 2026 Benefits

Recipients of the QuTech Academy Scholarship 2026 will receive:

Full tuition fee coverage for the TU Delft MSc programme.

Contribution to living expenses for the full two years of study.
Automatic consideration for a fully funded PhD position at QuTech upon completion of the MSc, provided the student achieves a grade of 9.0 (90%) or higher in their Master’s thesis.
