About The NNPC IT/SIWES Program
The NNPC Refinery IT/SIWES Program invites applications from qualified Nigerian students for the internship opportunity.
The Warri refinery is a complex conversion refinery with a capacity to refine 125,000 barrels of crude oil per day. The facility includes a petrochemical plant (established in 1988) producing polypropylene and carbon black.
It supplies petroleum products to southern and south-western Nigeria, but is not producing refined products currently due to the rehabilitation of the facility by the Federal Government.
Scholarship Region wishes to inform the public that the Warri Refining & Petrochemicals Company Limited (WRPC) management has approved the engagement of underlisted Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES)/Industrial Training (IT) Students from Polytechnics and Universities in Nigeria.
Eligibility Criteria for The NNPC Refinery IT/SIWES Program
To be considered for the 2024 NNPC
IT/SIWES Program, you must be;
- Be a registered full-time student of a Nigerian university or polytechnic
- Be eligible to undertake an IT/SIWES program as directed by your institution
- Submit required documents by the deadline
- Be ready to undertake a minimum of 3 months SIWES and a maximum of 12 months internship

The NNPC internship offers you the following;
- Monthly Stipends: The NNPC group has a specific amount they pay their Industrial Students
- Hands-on Training: You will likewise gain hands-on experience about the refinery processes which is a valid experiment
- Professional Work Experience: The sum total of all the experience gained is called professional experiences which will stand you out in your field.
Required Documents for NNPC Refinery IT/SIWES Program
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
Application for I.T.
- Photocopy of last school fees receipt attached.
- Photocopy of current and valid school ID card attached.
- Original signed and stamped SIWES letter from the school.
- Two pass-port photographs of the applicant attached

To apply for the internship Program, interested applicants should follow the procedures below;
- Gather the required documents as stated above
- Submit the documents at the refinery HCM office by the sliding gate no later than May 15, 2024.
- You can also forward the documents by post mail to the address; Ekpan – Warri, P.M.B 44, Effurum, Near Warri, Delta State Nigeria.
