About NCHR Intensive Course in Human Rights 2025
The course is introductory and interdisciplinary
It aims to provide participants with an understanding of international human rights norms, as well as the systems for protecting these at international, regional and national level.
It mainly targets professionals who have a job relevant to human rights.
Many past lecturers have been leading researchers within their fields. Even so, the main strength in this course lies in the participants.
The course will prioritize group work and facilitate shared learning and exchange.
All participants will be expected to read preparatory literature, which will be distributed in advance.
Course Topics
The program aims to provide an understanding of International Human Rights. Therefore the program will focus on:
- Human Rights Norms
- Protection of Human Rights Norms at International, Regional and National level.
