About the IFA CrossCulture Program (CPP) Fellowships 2025
The IFA CrossCulture Program (CPP) Fellowships 2025 provide 55-60 fully funded scholarships for professionals and volunteers from over 40 countries. These fellowships offer a 2-3 month professional stay at host organizations in Germany or in CCP partner countries. Participants gain specialized knowledge, make valuable contacts, and develop enhanced intercultural skills. Host organizations also benefit from the fellows’ regional expertise and networks. Fellows will have opportunities to join transcultural workshops, networking events, and specialist seminars. The program can be undertaken either on-site in Germany or digitally, depending on personal circumstances and current regulations. The fellowship is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.

- Politics and Society
- Media and Culture
- Human Rights and Peace
- Sustainable Development and Climate Justice
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Minimum age: 23 years at the time of application
- Professional experience: At least two years of work experience or voluntary involvement in a civil society organization in the applicant’s country of origin
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Good health for a longer stay abroad (applicants with concerns about this can contact crossculture@ifa.de for clarification)
Note: Students are not eligible to apply for this fellowship.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Current CV in English with detailed information on education, professional experience, voluntary work, and other relevant skills
- Letter of recommendation from the home organization or current workplace (using the template provided by the program)
- (Optional) A recent photograph
