The ITU Her CyberTracks program offers specialized training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to women in developing countries. Apply now and take a step towards becoming a leader in the field of cybersecurity!
Her CyberTracks is a prestigious initiative designed to empower women in cybersecurity by providing high-quality training and mentorship. The program offers three distinct CyberTracks—Policy & Diplomacy, Incident Response, and Criminal Justice—delivered through the ITU Academy.
This initiative is a continuation of ITU’s commitment to promoting gender diversity in cybersecurity. Inspired by the success of the Women in Cyber Mentorship Programme, this new program aims to equip women with specialized knowledge while maintaining key mentorship and role-modeling components. Through this initiative, women will gain the necessary expertise and leadership skills to make a significant impact in the cybersecurity field.
The program is structured around three main pillars:
- TRAIN: Participants receive expert-led training to build both technical and soft skills essential for cybersecurity roles.
- MENTOR: Women in senior positions mentor junior professionals, fostering their professional and personal growth.
- INSPIRE: Inspirational keynote webinars and networking events help reshape perceptions and highlight women as valuable contributors to the cybersecurity workforce.
Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, this initiative is co-implemented by the ITU Telecommunication Development Sector, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
