Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the African Future Leader Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of an African country (as defined by the United Nations, which includes all 54 African nations).
- Have strong leadership potential, demonstrated through:
- Academic achievements
- Work experience (full-time roles, internships, entrepreneurial projects, or significant career progression)
- Community contributions (volunteer work, leadership in social impact projects, or advocacy efforts)
- Have a strong and competitive application for the full-time MBA program, including:
- A compelling personal statement
- Strong performance in the admissions interview
- Relevant professional experience and career goals aligned with leadership and impact in Africa
- Must not be a continuing student at Imperial College London.
Selection Criteria
Applicants are assessed based on:
- Academic Excellence: A strong academic background, preferably with outstanding undergraduate and/or postgraduate achievements.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated leadership through work experience, entrepreneurial ventures, volunteer work, or community leadership roles.
