About the MTCP Scholarships 2024-2025

Applications are now open for the MTCP 2024–2025 scholarships. The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) aims to attract and welcome a talented pool of candidates from developing nations to Malaysia. By doing so, the program seeks to equip successful candidates with the necessary skills and abilities that will contribute to the development of both their home countries and Malaysia.

MTCP was initiated in 1980 as part of Malaysia’s commitment to South-South Cooperation. The program focuses on sharing Malaysia’s development experiences and expertise with other developing countries.
