FATE Foundation, in partnership with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, is excited to announce the 2024 edition of the Road to Growth Program for female entrepreneurs based in Ogun State, Nigeria. This prestigious program is designed to empower and support women who are leading businesses in the region, equipping them with essential business skills, financial literacy, and access to vital networks.
The initiative is funded by the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women along with other key partners, and aims to foster increased confidence and capacity in business for female entrepreneurs operating in low and middle-income countries.
The Road to Growth Program is an intensive and immersive training course that has been tailored specifically for female entrepreneurs who are poised to scale their businesses. The program’s curriculum is centered on providing participants with the tools they need to manage and grow their enterprises effectively.
Through a combination of interactive training sessions, personalized coaching, and peer-to-peer learning, participants will gain critical insights into business management, financial planning, and strategic growth.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the FATE Foundation Road to Growth Program 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Gender and Location: Must be a female entrepreneur based in Ogun State, Nigeria.
- Ownership: Must own at least 50% of a registered business in Nigeria.
- Business Experience: The business should have been operational and generating profit for at least two years.
- Workforce: Must employ between 3 and 49 employees.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency in using computers is required.
- Language Proficiency: Applicants should be able to read and write in English.
- Financial History: Applicants should have had no prior access to loans and must require additional investment for business growth.

Application Process
The application process for the Road to Growth Program 2024 involves two stages:
- Stage I: Interested applicants can apply by clicking the “Apply” button on the FATE Foundation’s SOAR Application Platform. This platform will guide applicants through the submission of their application materials.
- Stage II: After an initial review of all applications, shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a 10-minute phone or video interview. Following these interviews, 40 successful applicants will be selected to join the Ogun State cohort of the program.
