Eligible Fields

Training will be provided in two highly in-demand construction trades:

Carpentry L3 (Ref. CGR)

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this funded training opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Age: Between 18 and 34 years old
Nationality: Must be a South African citizen

Residency: Must reside within the Garden Route District
Employment Status: Must be unemployed at the time of application
Education Level:
- For Bricklaying: At least Grade 11 (NQF Level 3) or NCV L3 with Communication and Mathematical Literacy
- For Carpentry: The same educational requirement applies
Health: Must be in good physical health and pass a medical and substance abuse test

Mobility: Must be willing and able to travel to construction sites across the Western Cape
Commitment: Must be prepared to sign a 12-month training agreement and fully commit to completing the program
