Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the E-JUST TICAD8 scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Residency and Nationality: Must be a citizen of an African country (excluding Egypt) and currently reside in an African nation.
Professional Status: Applicants should either be researchers, instructors, or have the potential to assume these roles in the future. Preference is given to candidates who commit to returning to their home institutions after completing their degree.

Military Exemption: Candidates must not be serving in the military.
Academic Requirements:
- Meet all admission requirements of E-JUST.
- Successfully pass the academic interview and oral examination.
Endorsement: Applicants who are currently employed by universities or research institutions should obtain an endorsement letter from their home institutions, confirming their return post-graduation.
