About the King Scholars Program at Dartmouth College

Students selected as King Scholars will receive a four-year scholarship covering tuition and other essential costs at Dartmouth College. Eligibility Criteria
Any international applicant to Dartmouth College from a developing country will be automatically considered for the King Scholars Program, provided they meet the program’s selection criteria. There is no separate application for the program; instead, eligible applicants must complete the Common Application for Dartmouth College and will be reviewed for the King Scholars Program as part of the standard admissions process.

How to Apply
There is no separate application for the King Scholars Program. To apply:
- Submit the Common Application: Interested students should complete the Common Application for admission to Dartmouth College.
- Additional Recommendation (optional): Candidates are encouraged to submit an extra recommendation from someone familiar with their work, such as a teacher, mentor, advisor, community leader, friend, or clergy member. This recommendation can be submitted through Dartmouth’s Recommend a Scholar portal to support the application.
