Cybergirls Fellowship Program for Young and Talented Females 2023

About the Award?

The free, one-year CyberGirls Fellowship program prepares girls and women between the ages of 18 and 28 for careers in cybersecurity by giving them the skills that are in high demand both in Africa and around the world.

You will receive mentorship and practical cybersecurity training throughout the fellowship’s one-year length. You will also become certification-ready and may have the opportunity to participate in summer jobs

All African countries which include:

Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Eligible Requirements

This opportunity is awarded to strictly Girls and women aged 18 – 28 years old

Applicants must have an interest in cybersecurity skills. This is a core eligibility criterion for applicants.

As the main objective of the award, candidates will receive mentorship on cybersecurity and be given the necessary knowledge to land them a job after completion.

After the program, finalists will receive an officially recognized certificate as proof of competence and completion
There is also a great chance of getting an employment contract as an intern after the program
