Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the 2025 NLNG Post-Primary Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be pupils in Basic Six (Primary 6) in a public primary school in Rivers State.
  • Be indigenes of an NLNG host community.
  • Be between 10 and 12 years of age at the time of application.

  • A letter confirming indigene status, signed by the Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman or Community Chief.
  • A Local Government Area (LGA) identification letter.
  • A recent passport photograph (taken within the last 3 months; no glasses allowed).
  • Provisional admission into one of NLNG’s partner secondary schools (to be verified via newspapers or NLNG’s official social media handles).

Eligible Countries

This scholarship is exclusively for Nigerian pupils residing in Rivers State and who are indigenes of NLNG host communities.
