Raydon Scholarships

The following scholarships (collectively know as the Raydon Scholars) are generously made possible through the philanthropic support of the Narodowski Investment Trust in memory of family members:

The standard RTP Scholarships terms and conditions as outlined the RTP Scholarship Procedures apply with the exception of the following:

The duration of this scholarship will be for up to three years and three months. The scholarship duration will be extended for up to three months in the event of approved paid leave.

The scholarship duration for currently enrolled students will be reduced in accordance with section 4.1.4 of the scholarship terms and conditions.

Full-time, on-campus enrolment must be maintained for the duration of the scholarship.

In the event of a change in research direction, the broad areas of research (social justice, social inclusion, human rights, sustainability or environment, or social policy for the betterment of society) must still be maintained in order for the scholarship to continue.

This scholarship will replace any top-up scholarship such as a Monash Graduate Excellence Scholarship (MGES), Monash Indigenous Research Award (MIRA) or Monash Departmental Scholarship (MDS) in order to comply with section 4.5.6 of the scholarships terms and conditions.

Recipients will be required to provide a written progress report on the benefits of the scholarship, including their academic achievements.

Zema Energy Studies Scholarship

The Zema Energy Studies Scholarship is generously supported by the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO). The scholarship was established in memory of the founding AEMO CEO and Monash alumnus, Matt Zema, this prestigious PhD scholarship program supports PhD research focused on Australia’s energy markets to build adaptive capabilities of those markets and the underlying infrastructure.

The standard RTP Scholarships terms and conditions as outlined the RTP Scholarship Procedures apply with the exception of the following:

Scholarship is available to Australian citizens and Australian permanent residents only.

The scholarship duration for currently enrolled students will be reduced in accordance with section 4.1.4 of the scholarship terms and conditions.

Full-time, on-campus enrolment must be maintained for the duration of the scholarship.

In the event of a change in research direction, the broad areas of research (focused on Australia’s energy markets to build adaptive capabilities of those markets and the underlying infrastructure) must still be maintained in order for the scholarship to continue.

Awardees are expected to attend AEMO events to present on their research as required.
