About the Konrad Adenauer Visiting Scholarship
Applications are now open for the Konrad Adenauer Visiting Scholarship on Transatlantic Relations for the Fall 2025 semester. The Centre for European Studies (CES) at Carleton University offers this prestigious four-month program, in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), Foundation Office Canada. Scholars will engage in teaching, research, and public engagement at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, from September to December 2025.
The Konrad Adenauer Visiting Scholarship provides a platform for accomplished academics to explore topics related to transatlantic relations while contributing to teaching and research at Carleton University. Scholars will:
- Teach an MA-level seminar within the Institute of European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (EURUS) or potentially another department.
- Deliver a public lecture on their research, co-hosted by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.
- Participate in policy discussions, research activities, and guest lectures at other institutions.
The position emphasizes academic engagement, policy relevance, and collaboration.

Eligibility Criteria
