2. International Entrance Scholarships for 2025-26
For the academic year 2025-26, York University offers automatic entrance scholarships based on final admission averages:
- York International Scholarship of Distinction: Totaling $37,500, with $15,000 awarded in the first year and $7,500 in each of the subsequent three years. Eligible students must have an admission average of 85% or higher.
- York International Merit Award: Amounting to $25,000, with $10,000 in the first year and $5,000 annually for the next three years. This award is for students with an admission average between 80% and 84.9%.
- York International Entrance Award: A one-time award of $5,000 for students with an admission average between 75% and 79.9%.
- York International Transfer Award: A one-time award of $2,500 for transfer students with 24 or more transfer credits and an admission average of 75% or higher.
