About World Press Institute Fellowship
The Applications are open to apply for the World Press Institute Fellowship 2025 in the USA. The WPI Fellowship invites International applicants from all around the world to explore the US Media, Culture, politics, and issues of the day.
The Objective of the World Press Institute Fellowship is to advance the Journalism experience, and the Free flow of Ideas and to deepen the knowledge and skills to broaden the professional horizons.
Fellows will learn about U.S. history, current affairs, challenges faced by U.S. media, and Social, Economic, and Political Issues. Fellows will share their experiences and visit different Media Outlets in Washington DC, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, and more

2025 World Press Institute Fellowship Eligibility Requirements
- The WPI Fellowship 2025 is open to all the Nationals.
- The Applicant must be a Non-US Resident
- 5+ Years of Journalism Experience: In print, broadcast, or online media (excluding student work).
- News/editorial roles, photojournalism, cartooning, writing, production. Supervisors are eligible if they also have 5+ years as journalists.
- Fluency in English, leadership potential.
