About United Nations Millennium Fellowship Program

The United Nations Millennium Fellowship Program is a semester-long leadership development program that takes place right on your campus.

Co-presented by the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and the Millennium Campus Network (MCN), the program is designed to elevate your leadership and help you create tangible social impact aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As part of a cohort of 8–20+ Millennium Fellows on your campus, you will convene to learn from, inspire, and challenge one another through interactive sessions and peer-led activities.

Fellows meet at least eight times throughout the semester to collaborate on their projects and leadership goals.

Together, you will:

  • Develop a plan of action for your sessions and collective impact.
  • Exchange best practices and share lessons learned.
  • Organize campus-wide or community-based initiatives that promote sustainability, equity, and social progress.

When your Fellowship Campus meets its goals and fulfills the Fellowship’s graduation requirements, you will receive a Certificate of Recognition from the United Nations Academic Impact and the Millennium Campus Network (MCN).
