UNDP Project Associate – (Cuba): Job Opportunity
UNDP Project Associate
About UNDP Project Associate
Since 2020, the UNDP office in Cuba has been implementing a new cooperation program (CPD), agreed with the Cuban government, outlining priority work areas until 2024. UNDP Project Associate
framework includes productive transformation as one of its key priorities, aligned with the National Program for Sustainable Economic and Social Development to 2030 (PNDES).
UNDP in Cuba is one of the main partners supporting the government at both macro and micro levels in transformational change, innovation, and public-private collaboration with cooperatives and MSMEs. Special attention has been placed on food security, highly prioritized by the Cuban government, and UNDP has been a strong partner in this sector since 2009.
The Productive Transformation Team, under the Governance and Productive Transformation Area, manages projects that contribute to this national priority. The UNDP Project Associate team provides substantive, administrative, logistical, and financial support for project implementation, reporting progress to UNDP management and donors.
