About the 2024 Oyo State Bursary Award

Attention to all students who are natives of Oyo State! You are encouraged to submit your applications for the 2024 Oyo State Bursary Award. The Oyo State Scholarship Board is reputable for its history of offering financial assistance to Oyo State students enrolled in public tertiary institutions.

The Oyo State Bursary Award specifically aims to provide support to academically gifted students from Oyo State who are experiencing financial difficulties as they pursue their education in tertiary institutions both within the country and abroad. Additionally, the board is committed to fostering academic excellence and ensuring that all students have the opportunity to receive a high-quality education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who wish to benefit from this opportunity must additionally make sure they fulfill the following requirements:

Undergraduate, HND, and clinical final-year students—with the exception of final-year law students—

Aviation and Maritime Students
This applicant/student needs to be enrolled in Nigerian universities or other postsecondary institutions.
Applicants who attend private postsecondary institutions, work part-time or are international students are not eligible to apply.

Admission Letter
Local Government Identification

Current Course Registration Form endorsed by your Head of Department (H.O.D)
Must be a registered Federation of Oyo State Student Union (FOSSU) member.
