The university of Miami stamps Scholars offers merit award to students to cover their full cost of studies for their four years of undergraduate studies in the university.

The stamps university of Miami scholarship covers the following: tuition and fees, on-campus housing, a meal plan, the university health insurance, textbooks, a laptop to aid learning, and access to a $12,000 enrichment fund the fund can be used for research or further or undergo a certain  course abroad, undergraduate research, unpaid internships, and other educational pursuits.

Eligibility Criteria

Early Decision I and Early Action applicants are automatically considered when they apply for early admission to UM by submitting all First-Year Admission Requirements by November 1.

Selection Process

Selections are done are done in very sequential manner, first the semi finalist. These are the applicants that their applications have met with all the requirements for the university of Miami stamps scholarship award. Applicants who are selected on this stage will be passed to second state of the scholarship which of the final stage.

First stage

Selected semi-finalist candidates on this stage for the Stamps Scholarship are asked to write short essay on a topic to given by the University of Miami or in some cases on the applicants topic.

Selections of finalists are usually determined based by the review of applicants’ application, supporting documents made available by the applicants during application, and applicants’ responses to the compulsory essay, after which applicants are notified of their status and whether any applicant can move to the next stage of that would stand for admission during the next academic session of the university of Miami

Second stage is the finalist stage

Finalists will be interviewed by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation thereafter and Stamps Scholarship announcements will be made. Stamps Scholarship recipients will be required to participate in the University of Miami’s scholarship program, which will be held in at a time to be announced by the university.

During this scholarship program, candidates will meet with university of Miami’s faculty and current scholars to learn more about the university of Miami’s interest driven education system.

Terms and requirements

The successful Stamps Scholars must maintain a certain point in their school grade to keep the scholarship award. The scholars must complete a full time undergraduate program of study with grade point 12 and upward credit hours during each of the fall and spring semesters for a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year.

The stamps university of Miami scholars must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA for each of the academic year at the University of Miami, with the initial calculation at the end of the second semester of attendance.

The university of Miami stamps scholarship award is subject to revision each year before receipt of any of the grants under the scholarship,
