As our Quantitative Trading Intern, you’ll experience the heart of Optiver’s business while getting first-hand exposure to Amsterdam’s trading floor one of the most exciting and dynamic in Europe.

Under the guidance and support of industry experts, you’ll engage in simulated trading sessions that replicate real market conditions and work on projects that directly impact financial markets.

By the end of the eight-week internship, you’ll be equipped with the skills and knowledge required to succeed as a Quantitative Trader at a top global trading firm.

Optiver Quantitative Trading Internship Requirements

You must be in the penultimate year of your studies in STEM-related fields and make sure to graduate in 2026.

Available to start an internship in the Spring or Summer.

Possesses strong quantitative and logical reasoning skills.
Passionate about strategic games or competitive activities.
Python programming experience is a plus.

Does Optiver support Visa Sponsorship?
