About the Ingressive For Good (I4G) Marketing Scholarship
The Ingressive For Good I4G Marketing Scholarship for African Students 2024 is available to African students interested in digital marketing.
As part of its partnership with Meta, Ingressive For Good is offering free social media marketing education to 1500 African youths. According to a LinkedIn report published in 2022, social media managers rank third in demand among marketing positions. Participants in this program will gain an understanding of digital marketing and all major social media platforms. The curriculum covers the following aspects:
- How to create engaging content and manage content calendars
- The basics of social media advertising
- How to evaluate the success of your social media posts
- How to measure and optimize social media marketing campaigns.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria before they begin their application:
- Open to African youths
- You can take the courses on a laptop, a mobile phone, or a tablet. You must have a laptop with a camera and a private place to take the Meta Certification Exam.
- You do not need to have background knowledge in social marketing to apply. The course is designed with beginners in mind. However, people with some knowledge of social media marketing will benefit from it as well

Successful candidates will benefit from the following:
- Upon completion of your training, you will get exclusive access to the I4G Marketing Bootcamp, where you’ll be prepared for the job world and connected with mentors, and then the alumni community, where you’ll connect with other alumni and receive job postings
- You will get a professional certificate from Coursera after you complete the entire curriculum. During the courses, you would also have the opportunity to take the Meta Digital Marketing Associate Certification Exam with two free attempts. If you pass, you will get a Meta Digital Marketing Associate Certification Badge, in addition to the Coursera certificate.
