About the Fund for Peace Internship
Do you have a passion for conflict resolution, early warning systems, peace building, security, and human rights? The Fund for Peace Internship offers both full-time and part-time remote internships for graduates and undergraduates with relevant experience in these areas.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and impactful organization.

This is a remote internship, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world. The associated location for administrative purposes is Washington, DC, USA.

How to Apply for The Fund for Peace Internship
To apply for this internship, please follow these instructions:
- Submit Application via Idealist: Send your CV/resume, cover letter, names and contacts of three referees/references (no reference letters required), and your availability (part-time or full-time) through Idealist.
- Cover Letter Requirements: In your cover letter, clearly explain your interest and enthusiasm for The Fund for Peace. Highlighting your passion for our organization and its programs can give you an edge in the application process.
- Internship Period and Hours: Detail your intended internship period (e.g., June through August) and specify whether you plan to work full-time or part-time (including your intended working hours).
- Optional Writing Samples: Writing samples may be requested from applicants who are invited for an interview.
Important: The Fund for Peace receives many applications each semester for a limited number of positions. Due to our small personnel department, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted. If you are selected, you will be contacted approximately 3-4 weeks after the application deadline. Early applications are encouraged due to the high volume of submissions.
